Cancer Navigator
Andrea Kassem is the breast nurse navigator at the Baptist Breast Center. Kassem is an oncology certified nurse who offers support and education to diagnosed breast cancer patients. She is the single point of contact for patients, family members, physicians and caregivers.

Baptist Breast Center Earns Center of Excellence Designation
The Baptist Breast Center has voluntarily gone through a rigorous review process to be sure it meets nationally accepted standards for breast imaging. The center has achieved accreditation by the American College of Radiology in Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound and Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy. By achieving excellence in all of the modalities offered at the Baptist Breast Center, it has also earned the Breast Imaging Center of Excellence designation from the ACR and is considered a premier breast imaging provider. Baptist Breast Center patients will also have access to ACR accredited Breast MRI which is available at the nearby North Central Baptist M&S Imaging Center.
