Baptist Health System Dietetic Internship Program

Food and nutrition experts are in demand. You can help meet that demand by becoming a Registered Dietitian through the Baptist Health System Dietetic Internship. Our highly successful program has a proven track-record of success. Our interns have an outstanding first-time pass rate of 93% and overall pass-rate of 100% on the national credentialing exam.

This program is a post-baccalaureate, supervised practice experience that prepares participants to take and pass the examination to become Registered Dietitians.

The program offers full-time and Individualized Supervised Practice Pathways (ISPP) options. The full-time program takes approximately 40 weeks to complete, with 3 weeks for vacations/personal days. The program requires a minimum of 1,200 supervised practice hours. Dietetic Interns must also attend the required didactic class portion of this internship.

Supervised practice clinical and management/leadership rotations take place within the Baptist Health System hospitals. Supervised practice community rotations will occur at various sites in the San Antonio community.
