mammogram is a screening test for breast cancer . These types of screening tests play an important role in maintaining good health. While some tests can be done quickly during a regular doctor’s visit, a mammogram requires an additional appointment at a special facility.
A change in breast care is coming to San Antonio. When it opens this summer, the Baptist Breast Center will offer comprehensive breast care – from screening mammograms and genetic counseling, to biopsy, diagnosis, and should cancer be found – treatment and rehabilitation.
