We treat your pain by treating you first

From injury to arthritis to joint pain of any kind, Baptist can treat it all with our orthopedic specialists and Joint Club rehab program.

Learn more about our orthopedic services:

We have treated more than 30,000 orthopedic patients since 2005, and every day we strive to improve and offer our patients exactly what they need. We never stop learning, and we never settle for just good enough. That’s the difference. That’s Baptist Care.

  • “We’ve got the pre-admission nurses, we’ve got the Joint Club with pre-surgery education, and we have the skilled help in the operating room who are used to doing total joint replacements,” says Dr. Bryan Kaiser, Orthopedic Surgeon.

  • “From the moment the patients walk in the door, they’ve got people who are trained in taking care of their problems to help them get well.”

Our people are our patients too

Kevin Bell walks miles each day as the Director of Imaging Services at Northeast Baptist Hospital. The pain in his arthritic knees was making his job – and his life – impossible to enjoy.

The San Antonio orthopedic specialists at Baptist Health System take joint and bone care very personally. And they should – many of them have undergone procedures like joint replacements at the Baptist facility where they work.

“I starting having knee problems when I hit about 40,” says Kevin. “My knees got down to bone on bone, and it was very painful to walk or work in my yard. Every little thing I did hurt.”

Dr. David Fox, a San Antonio orthopedic specialist at Baptist, performed Kevin’s knee replacement. Within weeks, Kevin was back at work, walking his way to recovery.

“I know Baptist from working here for many years, so I knew my surgery would be done with the latest technology and by orthopedic surgeons who are the best in their field,” says Kevin.

“But I didn’t know how easy and comfortable the staff would make my visit. The Joint Club doctors and nurses all took a personal interest and got me through the toughest part of my recovery.”

“It made me remember why I love working at Baptist.”
