Patients & Visitors

Baptist prides itself on living an important mission, helping you achieve health for life. When you make a visit to the hospital, you want to be prepared. More than that, you want to be sure that the people you are entrusting your life and care to – or the life and care of your loved one – understand what you’re going through and can provide the highest level of treatment in a compassionate environment.

At Baptist, we do both.

Patients & Visitors

At Baptist Health System, we know that treatments and technology only matter if they help our patients. We help people find the best path to health.

We have:

Coming to the hospital – for any reason – can be scary and confusing. We strive to make sure all of your questions are answered and you are ready for treatment before any procedure occurs. We understand that no two patients are the same, so your treatments shouldn’t be. We explain your options and help you build a treatment plan that meets your needs. We are medical professionals, but first and foremost, we are people. We understand what you’re going through and we can help.

“Doing the right thing for the patient. Every time.”

–Dr. Stephen Reich, Cardiac Electrophysiologist

“I’m 46 and I had my right hip replaced in May at Baptist,” says Bobby Castillo. “Before my hip replacement I couldn’t walk my girls around the zoo. But I was afraid of hospitals and surgery,” he says. “After years of hearing me complain, my mom made an appointment and I finally went to Baptist. The day after surgery, I was standing up. Now I can walk the whole zoo with my girls. I feel great. The pain is completely gone and the people at Baptist Health System made it happen.”
