A groundbreaking program, in place at each of the Baptist Health System hospitals, is saving precious time in diagnosing and treating patients suffering a heart attack. Baptist Health System is the first and only system in San Antonio to implement “Heart Alert,” a program that in most cases gets heart attack patients into the cath lab for life-saving treatment in under an hour… well under the national standard of 90-minutes.

Whether you’re undergoing knee, hip or other joint replacement procedures, the Joint Replacement Club at Baptist Medical Center is a club that makes a difference.

Our Stroke Support Group is a community organization for stroke survivors and their family members as well as friends. It helps people learn more about stroke, and become inspired to move forward after experiencing a stroke. Meets every 1st Tuesday, 2:00 p.m. at Baptist Medical Center. Stroke Education Classes for patients and caregivers, are just a few of the services offered for patients recovering from stroke through the Brain and Stroke Network at Baptist Health System.
