Alejandro Treszezamsky was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After earning his medical degree from Universidad de Buenos Aires, he journeyed to the US in 2003 for a postdoctoral research position at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, followed by a full residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Dr. Treszezamsky then specialized in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. He completed a 3-year Surgical Fellowship at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (accredited by the American Boards of Obstetrics and Gynecology and of Urology). His Urogynecology Fellowship included in-depth rotations in Urology, Colorectal Surgery and Pelvic Physical Therapy. He was also an active member of the Fellows’ Pelvic Research Network (Society of Gynecologic Surgeons). Dr. Treszezamsky holds a double Board Certification, in URPS and in OB/GYN. He is a member of the American Urogynecology Society, the Texas Medical Association and has served as a reviewer for three prestigious medical journals in his field of expertise. Dr. Treszezamsky is fluent in English, Spanish and French. He is married, has two sons and enjoys playing soccer, biking, reading, writing and spending quality time with family and friends.

I love Dr. T's manner of speaking and explaining. It was sophisticated enough that I believe he has confidence in me and knows he can talk to me like an adult, if not a peer but his manner of speaking was not so elevated that I felt like he thought he was above me. Dr T was easy to speak with which helped as I was very nervous about the appointment. Prior to arrival, I wrote out significant information about my meds, surgeries, health issues. As I've had a year of unexpected serious illness (plus not having records accessible), I'd left out a condition and procedure which were pertinent to appointment. Dr T was both understanding as well as gentle in his questions to help me remember. Dr T explained the tests he needed/wanted to complete a diagnosis and treatment plan. He provided logical reasoning, then discussed options before leaving decision to me.

I had a great experience with Dr T. He went over my medical history and referral from Dr Angela Akonye, OB. GYN (Erosion of bladder mesh) He examine me and confirmed findings. He also advised me on doing a bladder ultrasound to see that erosion has not effected my bladder. I saw a GYN, urologist at UHS, she did a bladder ultrasound on my bladder and did a pelvic exam and showed bleed on glove. Unforeseen circumstances caused me to be late. Since I live in a different city they made a special effort for me to still be seen and feel comfortable and at ease with my anxiety. Dr. T. Made extra time to discuss surgery and answer all my questions in a relaxed setting. He is very personable and acted like he had "all the time in the world" (which, of course, he doesn't) to allay any concerns that I had. He was very "present" with me (and not that rushing off feeling you get in a doctors setting. He's an intuitive doctor able to carefully explain anatomy and his procedures. He gets an A+ rating from me. I've been his patient for 3 years.

Doctor T. is easy to get along and speaks fluent Spanish, sometimes he and I can do both English and Spanish. I like that he suts and kustens to my questions or doubts and hevtakes time to explsin things to me. Also, he is real quick to do whatever he needs to do. He is very reassuring.
