She explained the condition of my break. Fortunately it was a clean break. She also told me about how long it would take for it to heal. She was concerned about my level of vitamin D as that helps with healing. She recommended I get my blood tested for it and if it was low to take vitamin D. She gave me options as how soon I should come back; the soonest when it might not be healed or wait a little longer so it was certain it was healing properly at the check up. I highly recommend Dr. Gibson.

She explained the cast. Why the first one is loose, because of swelling. Instructions on not getting it wet. They do have some that can get wet but I didn't go with that option. When removing the cast she walked me through the process. This is my first break. I always wondered how they got those things off without hurting someone. I highly recommend the doctor and staff.

I came to Dr Gibson in need of a second opinion. The way the first practice that I visited was run and the way I was treated by all of the staff there made me skeptical of the care I would receive. Dr Gibson was my second opinion Doctor that came via a personal recommendation to review a 3 way distal radius fracture on top of a wrist that already had multiple previous injuries including non union scaphoid.
