Christopher J. Busken, MD is a vascular surgeon with over 15 years of experience in vascular surgery. Dr. Busken received a Bachelor of Science at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri before pursuing a medical degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. He then went on to complete his residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. After his residency, he completed a rigorous fellowship in vascular surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Busken is committed to staying at the forefront of medical advancements. He is passionate about sharing his medical knowledge with other physicians through speaking engagements, presentations and mentorships. His enthusiasm for vascular health shines in every patient interaction. Dr. Busken is able to communicate complex medical concepts with clarity and confidence, easing any patient concerns. Once I waited nearly an hour for a procedure but this only happened once. Because I know the time and care Dr. Busken takes with me (and my husband) I know he is caring well for the other patients before me. So, I have no problem waiting.

Dr Busken and his staff are wonderful. His bedside manner is wonderful, he cares and it shows. He explains findings and/or medical procedures so that we understand. He's the best vascular surgeon and we are fortunate that he's our doctor.

Dr. Busken had done my mothers fistula. I was very pleased with him during her appointments. Therefore, when it came time that I was in need of his services I chose to go with him. I was originally recommended another doctor. With all that being said Dr. Busken is very highly recommeded personally.
