Dr. Suman Nalluri is board certified in both interventional neurology and neurocritical care. As a neurointerventional surgeon, he is skilled in the treatment of stroke, intracranial aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations of the brain and steno occlusive disease of the cervical and intracranial vasculature. Prior to accepting the role of Stroke Medical Director for Northeast Baptist Hospital, Dr. Nalluri served as Stroke Medical Director and Neurointerventionalist with Centra Health at Centra Lynchburg General Hospital in Virginia. His constant mission is to minimize the impact of neurological diseases and improve quality of life for every patient. I was a first time patient and Dr. Nulluri was outstanding in every aspect of my exam. He performed a thorough physical examination, after taking my medical history. He diagnosed my condition, explained what lab tests he ordered for me and prescribed medication. After hosp, I was instructed to follow up with a nuerologist in 5-7 days. UT Health was recommended. They were very difficult to work with, and only had an appt in November. Other nuerologists were similar, but Dr. Nalluri was able to see me in a short time.
