Billie Corwin, APRN, FNP-C, is a dedicated family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience caring for patients across the lifespan. She completed both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and is board-certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. With a strong clinical focus on preventive medicine and women’s health, Billie partners closely with patients to create individualized care plans that support long-term wellness and reduce avoidable hospitalizations. She routinely provides preventive care, chronic disease risk assessments, Medicare annual visits, women’s health services, and evidence-based management of conditions such as diabetes, obesity, depression, and anxiety. Billie’s early career in critical care and cardiac units shaped her passion for helping patients stay healthy, age well, and maintain quality of life through proactive, team-based care. Known for her compassionate approach, she strives to meet each patient where they are, empowering them to take an active role in their health. Outside of her clinical work, Billie is family-oriented, an avid gardener, and proudly raises chickens. She loves spending time with her three grandchildren and sharing the food she grows with friends and loved ones.

I went in to renew a prescription because the pharmacy said I needed to see my doctor. I didn't see my doctor; instead, I saw a nurse's assistant. I agreed to see her because I needed to renew my prescription and saw this as the only way to do so. While the prescription was renewed, I have been addled in to do a visit to check my heart. So I am glad this visit happened.

Very happy with how Dr Corwin listened to all my issues and asked me questions to get to the bottom of my pain in my side. She is very thorough and will ck for other possible issues, which gives me much confidence in her as a NP.
