Ronnie Garcia, MD

Dr. Ronnie Garcia hails from South Texas and has a distinguished service background in the US Navy. He grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University before receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine in San Antonio. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Naval Hospital Portsmouth and served as a Navy internist for two years in Corpus Christi before completing a Cardiology fellowship in 2006 at National Naval Medical Center Bethesda. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease with a focus on preventative cardiology and early treatment. He believes that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of care and strives to achieve a balance between holistic natural medicine as well as pharmaceuticals when needed. Dr. Garcia places a strong emphasis on encouraging his patients to actively participate as partners in their treatment decisions.
