Dr. Ronnie Garcia hails from South Texas and has a distinguished service background in the US Navy. He grew up in San Antonio and graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University before receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine in San Antonio. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at Naval Hospital Portsmouth and served as a Navy internist for two years in Corpus Christi before completing a Cardiology fellowship in 2006 at National Naval Medical Center Bethesda. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease with a focus on preventative cardiology and early treatment. He believes that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of care and strives to achieve a balance between holistic natural medicine as well as pharmaceuticals when needed. Dr. Garcia places a strong emphasis on encouraging his patients to actively participate as partners in their treatment decisions.

I really enjoyed the prank the admitting nurse played on me by covertly pressing on the scales making me appear to weigh more than 300 pounds. We had a good laugh. Medtronic's was ready when I went back & if I remember right we did EKG first & vitals. Everyone was very nice. They answered all my silly questions & were very professional. Dr. Garcia came in listened to my heart and lungs. We discussed me. He is always great with me. I was one of his first patients here. Left another Dr.because he wasn't helping. Years later, I'm still at Dr. Garcia's so that should say something he's a good doctor. Thank you.

I like the new office they deserved one. I have recommended a lot of people over the years to doctor Garcias office. He's been very good explaining things to me as well . Whoever is helping me if I have a question if they can't answer it, they find an answer before I leave that building. Check up & I am pretty good

Staff were all very nice. Dr . Garcia was friendly easy to talk to . I had already learned Several of our neighbors either were still going to him or had seen him. Everyone had great things to say about him. They all said we would like him. We had never met him till husband went to the ER and was moved to the iCU. Dr. Garcia came in and told us my husband would need a pace maker. He had gone in on Sunday morning. Dr Garcia saw him early Monday morning. Monday a bit after 5 PM they took my husband in for surgery. I took him back home Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 PM. He is doing great. Yes We will continue to see Dr. Garcia.
