All Six Baptist Health System Hospitals Earn the Top Grade in Patient Safety from The Leapfrog Group

SAN ANTONIO, TX (May 15, 2019) – Baptist Medical Center, Mission Trail Baptist, Northeast Baptist, North Central Baptist, St. Luke’s Baptist and Resolute Health Hospital all received an “A” rating in The Leapfrog Group’s Spring 2019 Safety Score, demonstrating Baptist Health System’s commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Baptist is the only health system in San Antonio to earn A ratings for all of its hospitals.

The Leapfrog Group Hospital Safety Score is a rating system designed to give consumers information they can use to make healthcare decisions for themselves or a loved one. The Leapfrog Group assigns A, B, C, D and F grades to more than 2,600 U.S. hospitals based on their ability to prevent errors, injuries, accidents and infections.
