Baptist Senior Psychiatric programs offer personalized, confidential care in a carefully structured, safe, and medically appropriate psychiatric unit specifically designed for treatment of older adults with a mental illness. Our integrated approach centers
on an active treatment team led by a Psychiatrist, and includes licensed Social Workers, psychiatric trained RNs, activity/recreation therapists, and psychiatric care associates. The programs are also supported by a wide range of other medical specialists
within Baptist Health System.

When to call:
Psychiatric inpatient units specialize in intensive treatment and maintaining safety during a mental health crisis. They are the appropriate place to be when someone is feeling out of control, having thoughts of harming self or others, or experiencing
