Michael Cline, M.S.

President and CEO, Northeast Baptist Hospital

Michael Cline, MS, is President and Chief Executive Officer at Northeast Baptist Hospital.

Michael has a long and accomplished history with Baptist Health System having joined the organization back in 2006. Most recently, he served as CEO for Mission Trail Baptist Hospital, where he accomplished several major goals, including returning Women’s Services (The Nest) to Mission Trail in August 2021 with an expansion in 2022.

He also served as Chief Operating Officer for Baptist Medical Center, where he led numerous projects to enhance the hospital’s programs, services and physical campus to include a major emergency room renovation. Prior to his tenure with Baptist Medical Center, Michael was COO for Mission Trail Baptist Hospital where he implemented processes aimed at improving efficiency, quality, growth, employee and physician satisfaction. He was responsible for oversight of all ancillary and clinical ancillary departments including surgical services, procedural services and Emergency Room services.

Michael also held several key leadership roles at North Central Baptist Hospital and Northeast Baptist Hospital, including COO/Associate COO, Administrative Director of Procedural Services, Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, Director of Quality Improvement and Director of Respiratory Therapy. He began his career at Baptist Health System as a Pediatric Staff Therapist. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Independence University and undergraduate degrees from Wayland Baptist University and St. Philip's College.
