Amanda Peres, PA-C

Amanda Peres, MPAS, PA-C is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in cardiovascular medicine. Her clinical interests include structural heart disease, cardiovascular disease prevention, and patient education. Amanda’s philosophy of care is rooted in the belief that every patient deserves to feel listened to and to leave each encounter understanding their diagnosis and their options. She aims to break down complex cardiovascular concepts into clear, approachable language so that patients and the family members supporting them can be active participants in their care. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors, especially birdwatching and exploring the Texas Hill Country. She also enjoys crocheting and playing the piano and acoustic guitar. She is also an animal lover with two cats and a dog.Before pursuing her career as a PA, she worked at People’s Community Clinic in Austin, a nonprofit serving uninsured and underinsured patients. That experience fostered a lasting passion for reducing barriers to healthcare, including language barriers. Amanda is fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
