About Simone Bailey-Brown
Born in the beautiful island of Jamaica, Dr. Bailey-Brown obtained her medical degree with honors from the University of the West Indies. She continued with her Residency training in Internal Medicine followed by a Cardiology Fellowship training at Danbury Hospital, a Yale affiliate in Connecticut. Dr. Bailey-Brown developed a strong interest in heart disease prevention, which drove her to complete a Preventive Cardiology Fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Bailey-Brown is a noninvasive cardiologist with special interests in the areas of preventive cardiology, women’s health and cardio-oncology (the intersection of heart disease with cancer therapies). She enjoys working with patients to develop treatment options that are specifically tailored for the patient. She believes that patient education and promoting healthy behavior change are important components of the care that she provides to her patients.

The assistance the whole team gave was awesome. For example, after completing my initial stress test it had been reviewed within an hour and I received a called by Dr. Bailey Brown of her review and suggestion another test with pictures of the heart. That was great teamwork.
