Jenna Banner, MD

Dr. Jenna Banner is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with comprehensive expertise in women’s health, obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She currently serves as Chief of OB Services at St. Lukes Baptist Hospital. Dr. Banner earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and completed medical school and her OB/GYN residency at UT Health San Antonio. She provides full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care, with clinical interests that include high-risk pregnancy management, twin vaginal birth, and minimally invasive robotic-assisted surgery. Her procedural experience includes vaginal and cesarean deliveries, robotic-assisted total laparoscopic hysterectomy, hysteroscopy, LEEP, D&C, colposcopy, vulvar biopsy, and comprehensive contraceptive services, including long-acting reversible contraception (LARC). Dr. Banner is fluent in Spanish. Outside of medicine, Dr. Banner enjoys sports, travelling, and spending time with her family. She is known by colleagues and patients alike for her approachable, compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care.
