Dr Kumar is very professional and I would recommend him to anyone. I have always been one to ignore my health and not get annual check ups. Dr Kumar has pinpointed areas of my health that if I kept ignoring they would have led to major issues. I have lost a third of my body weight and maintained it under Dr Kumar's care. My A1C was close to pre diabetic numbers but have dropped and my high blood pressure is normal now thanks to Dr Kumar. His staff has always been friendly and professional also. It is also very convenient to have a lab in his office.

I got the registration papers from the office's website, completed them at home, and hand delivered them to the office on January 5, 2021, at which time I made the appointment for my March 2nd first office visit. I arrived for my first visit 30 minutes early as requested; only had to wait about 10 minutes from the scheduled appointment time until I was called back. As this was my first visit with Dr. Kumar it took longer than a follow up visit would normally take, but he was very thorough, answered all my questions, etc.. I have no concerns about how much time elapsed between arrival time and departure time for this first visit.

When I arrived to the clinic for my appointment, I was informed by the staff that Mrs Sinclair, who is not my provider, was out on a family emergency; that I was informed of this the week before, via voicemail. I never received a voicemail. I was asked by the staff if I wanted to reschedule? Not only did I call for an appointment with Ms. Houston two months in advance, I was scheduled for an appointment with Mrs Sinclair the week before my appointment, only to be told that I was informed via voicemail that she was not going to be in. I never got a voicemail. I was ready to be seen by my provider, which did not happen even though I waited over 2 months. So, I was asked if I wanted to see Dr Kumar that morning as he had an opening? I said yes, since I had waited 2 months to get my yearly physical done. I was disappointed because even though I don't have chronic conditions and my yearly physical was expected to be quick, my favorite provider is Ms Houston as she is very patient and thorough. She's the only one who explains things well and answers my questions. She doesn't rush things. I apologise for the long description above but it's that I was disappointed with the visit.

My provider is Ms Houston. Unfortunately, even though I had scheduled my yearly physical appointment two months in advance with Ms Houston, I was scheduled by someone in the clinic to see Ms Sinclair who is not my provider. I realized that I was scheduled to see Ms Sinclair by someone in the clinic that morning of the appointment when I went in to the clinic. But then, I was told that Ms Sinclair was out on a family emergency, and that I was notified of this via voicemail the week before my appointment. I was never left a voicemail. If so, I would've immediately called the office to let them know my provider is Ms Houston, not Mrs Sinclair. Anyways, with Ms Houston and Mrs Sinclair not available, and also scheduling my yearly physical two months before, I ultimately wanted to be seen by a provider and not have to reschedule. So, I was offered to see Dr Kumar that morning? I said yes.I want to go back to seeing Ms Houston. She's very thorough and very patient. Though I don't have chronic conditions, she answers any questions I may have.

Dr. Kumar has been my physician for a while now. I have always held him in high regards. This was not a very good visit, and I am not sure it is all his fault. He is human. And my chronic pain does not allow me to be good company for any occasion. I told him of two concerns I have. One he addressed thoroughly and the other he asked me if it caused me pain. And then went into the other issue, discussed it and we were done.The nurse brought me some information and exercises, and that was it. He did have several other patients waiting. And he was stressed. I do have a follow up appt in a few weeks. I will see how that goes before I make any changes.

It was a very good initial experience. I transferred my records from Dr. Bounce, who I liked very much when he moved to Ohio, because Dr Kumar's background and clinical interests match many of my medical issues and our friends highly recommended him. He was very interested in learning about my medical issues and agreed to act overall facilitator with my many specialists l see. This was initial visit and I am due for Wellness Visit in couple months. I was his first patient and great staff told me he was delayed in traffic and I told them it was not a problem.

Just love Dr Kumar and the convenience of the lab there in the office. I've known Dr Kumar since the mid 1990's until the early 2000. he was my father and mother's Drand mine when my primary Dr wwas out of the office.. he was a very good internal medicine Dr. was very happy. then he left. when my primary Dr moved his clinic out to Selma, it was to far for me to drive because of my disability. so when I found out that he had a clinic in BHS CLINICAL BUILDING THERE ON WISEMAnew Blvd, I immediately changed doctoes, and beenow with him since. just love him.
