Rudy is a rare individual in the medical profession who genuinely cares about his patients. He takes the time to listen carefully to their concerns, explains his assessments in clear, understandable terms, and provides appropriate treatment-whether through prescribing medication or referring patients to a specialist when needed. It's a shame more professionals don't bring the same level of dedication and compassion to their work.

I must specifically recognize Rudy for the outstanding care he provides. He has an exceptional bedside manner - calm, attentive, and genuinely compassionate. He listens carefully without rushing and takes the time to fully understand my concerns.His examinations are thorough and hands-on. He carefully checks for areas of discomfort or pain and listens closely to ensure he can accurately identify the cause of any symptoms. I never feel dismissed or hurried. When something is important, he takes the time needed, making sure I am fully heard and that he has completed a careful evaluation before concluding the visit.Rudy is also very mindful of practical considerations such as the cost of medications, therapies, or recommended programs. He works with me to find solutions that are effective and realistic.He consistently reviews my history before each appointment and follows up appropriately, so I never feel like I have to start from the beginning. Whether through excellent preparation, careful note-keeping, or simply exceptional attentiveness, he demonstrates a high level of professionalism and genuine concern.He is truly an outstanding caregiver, and I feel very confident in the care I receive from him.

I truly appreciate the care I receive from PA Rivera and the entire staff. The location is very convenient, and I can easily schedule appointments around my day off and my children's school drop-off. The staff is consistently courteous, and the check-in process is simple - I complete registration ahead of time and am warmly greeted upon arrival. My wait time is always short.During the visit, I feel genuinely cared for. My concerns are taken seriously, I feel heard, and the care I receive is thorough and attentive. I actually look forward to my appointments - Rudy is absolutely the best.Even if I realize afterward that I forgot to mention something, it is easy to follow up, and the team remains responsive and detailed in their care. That level of attentiveness means a great deal.

It is amazing how the nurse took the time to listen, feel, understand, and make me feel she cared for me. And she really did! Usually, nurses are distant, do their job, and take notes because they have to...but you can tell you are just one more patient. In this case, it was different from the beginning; it felt so good to have a conversation about my feelings with someone who also shared thoughts and smart suggestions. I did tell Rudy how wonderful was his nurse.

This last visit (in person) was far better than the in person visits prior. At one point I was frustrated and about to give up on this practice and was primarily only using all my specialists, even for GP things because I couldn't get in to be seen and had given up on trying so GP things would exacerbate to the point it affected other parts of chronic issues and would be so bad I would have to go to whichever specialists needed for that particular issue. So I was pleasantly surprised at this experience this time and took note again of the importance of forward booking and made all my 3 month appts for the year. He made me the priority. He listened to all my concerns and I trusted his recommendations. He has taken really good care of me and my family. He has Improved my health significantly over the years. I can honestly say, it's very hard to find such good medical care, and at my (and my wife's) age, this is very important, important enough to say right where I am (I was planning on moving for retirement) however, as long as I have Rudy as my physician I plan to stay here in San Antonio!
