Dr. Michael Albrecht is board certified in general surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Albrecht is well versed in the surgical management of complex medical cases, and has a passion for helping patients affected by burns. In addition to being a skilled clinician, Dr. Albrecht is a highly trained General Surgeon utilizing the robotic da Vinci Surgery for a minimally invasive approach.

The anesthesiologist spent time discussing the process and asking me questions. She was very friendly and calming...I was a little anxious. Dr. Albrecht came in to explain the procedure again to me and within minutes I was moved to surgery. The staff was so amazingly kind and helpful. I have told everyone about my experience.

I pre-registed at admitting before the day of the surgery. Ray in admitting was especially friendly and helpful. Several people called me throughout the day to clarify instructions or to take care of financial matters, and they were all very helpful as well. The day of the surgery and very nice and efficient lady got me registered and checked in to Day Surgery on the 2nd floor. I didn't get her name, I was anxious about the surgery, but she was wonderful as well. One added note: The patient tracking system eased the minds of my family members. Not only was everyone gracious to me, they were also kind to my family. They were shown the tracking system and loved watching my progress. They also appreciated that Dr. Albrecht took the time to locate them and give them an update on my surgery.

As previously mentioned the lady that registered me on the day of surgery and gave me my hospital bracelets was extremely efficient. She was friendly, quick, and answered all my questions. Veronika moved me to a room right after registration and got me set with everything I would need. Two RN's came by to get my pre-op paperwork completed. Jenna did my IV and took blood. (she is very good at what she does!) The process was quick and painless, and was also very friendly. The anesthesiologist and surgical nurse came to talk to me about the process and the surgical nurse told me they were all ready they were just waiting on Dr. Albrecht. I was wheeled back to surgery at 8:05. Amazing staff!!

Amazing staff overall. Everyone was friendly from registration to recovery. I was very sick after the surgery and the recovery staff took great care of me before I left. Jesse saw that I needed more medicine for nausea, so they followed up with my doctor to get an additional prescription. Jesse also called me the next day to follow up with my home recovery and remind me of my surgical restrictions. Amazing recovery room staff.
