Dr. Jesus J. Naranjo has been practicing family medicine for about 30 years, the last four in San Antonio. The majority of his medical experience was in academic medicine in the Rio Grande Valley where he grew up and raised his two children with his wife of 31 years. Dr. Naranjo is interested in caring for broad-based family medicine patients with a special interest in geriatrics. Dr. Naranjo enjoys cultural diversity and can speak Spanish. Dr. Naranjo listened attentively to everything I shared about my condition and past history. He also read the report I brought from a hospital ER facility carefully. He then provided information that was helpful and directly addressed a main concern of mine and he was careful to address my issue in exactly the way I like..with care, not too aggressively but also in a way to leave the door open for any changes. He made a suggestion for a dietary supplement of fiber (Metamucal) which I immediately felt was an excellent suggestion and once following his advice I began to improve, feel better, and have all the results he said I would and which I desired.
