Dr. Jonathan Coppin is a board-certified family medicine physician who treats patients of all ages. He grew up in San Antonio and has lived there, or nearby the city, most of his life. Dr. Coppin believes in shared decision-making when creating a clinical care plan. I have been going to Dr. Coppin for several years and have never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes. My recent visit, I was late and missed my appointment time but still didn't wait in the waiting room more than 5 minutes or so. The new office location is extremely efficient, warm and courteous. They care for their patients like family and are always very pleasant and attentive.

DR.JONATHAN COPPIN is an excellent PCP. This is the first time that we have one, after some years looking for one. He is thorough, efficient, and very empathetic to our concern. He goes out of his way to diagnose an issue (my Mom's swollen feet...) I was so impressed by his humility, when he went down on his knees to check the feet of my Mom. He is admirable, competent, and a good listener.

Dr Coppin was outstanding! He was calm and caring, and listened intently to the facts I related, as well as my concerns. He answered every concern, and I feel confident about my treatment and the choices I have made. He paid a lot of attention to the care and findings of specialists who treat me, and truly coordinated all this information into my overall treatment plan. He recommended a treatment plan for osteoporosis which took into account a specific condition that a specialist is treating me for. He recommended a specialist for additional treatment, and fully explained his reasoning for this recommendation. He is truly a primary care doctor, taking into account my entire health picture, and coordinating all my treatments, medical tests, and mediciations. I can't say enough positive things about the doctor.

Everyone was kind, professional, and focused on my care. Also, the staff went the extra mile to ensure that all providers and tests were covered by my insurance company. Additionally, this clinic and all providers are affiliated with Baptist Health System. I feel confident that they can access all the resources of Baptist Health System should additional medical problems arise. The nurse gave me information and locations of urgent care clinics and emergency rooms that are Baptist affiliated, which will facilitate coordination of my care as needed. My primary care doctor retired, and I have been searching for exactly this type of doctor: caring and knowledgeable, who is affiliated with a strong network of health care providers and facilities.
