About Miguel Perea
Dr. Perea obtained his medical degree at the University Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2018. He then temporarily relocated to the Midwest to complete his training as a General Surgeon at The University of Missouri at Kansas City. Being a Hispanic himself, he decided to come back to the San Antonio area to provide care to this diverse community and give back to this great city he now calls home. He enjoys being outside with his wife and two children as well as visiting different restaurants and experiencing new cuisines. Dr. Perea is fluent both in English and Spanish and looks forward to helping his patients in need.

Dr. Parrea is awesome! He listened to me! He responded to me to validate that he listened. He explained the pros and cons in words that I understood. He provided detailed information to address my concerns and remind me on the reasons for my visit. I am visiting the office based on a previous experience (my husband had used the surgery) he listened to my concerns about my negative interaction with another surgical office and he did not add to my negative retelling of the experience, make excuses for the other physician, but focused on the concerns and treatment. How he treated me, my concerns symptoms and did not bad mouth the other doctor's office demonstrated HUGE integrity! It also helped that he is. Miami Dolphins fan! This experience was one the best experiences I have had in a long time. I do not get sick and do not visit doctors often so this experience is greatly appreciated. I have shared my positive experience with family and friends! Superb experience!

Nicole helped me finish the phone registration. She also double checked my information for FMLA, faxed and gave me a copy. Her thoughtfulness is greatly appreciated. She remembered my work release paper, but let me know she had to check on another patient first. I am very impressed with how polite and kind the staff are with one another.
