About Leora Collins
Dr. Leora Cavazos Collins, is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She had aspirations to become a doctor since high school, where she graduated at top of her class. In her residency program, she took on leadership roles and additional studies in high-risk obstetrics and minimally invasive surgery. Leora Cavazos Collins, MD is a passionate supporter of women’s health. Her philosophy of care is to treat the whole woman, not just her symptoms. Whether treating an adolescent, a woman for pregnancy, or for issues with menopause, she is committed to providing comprehensive and caring, yet evidence-based medical care. She believes in pursuing all medical options as a first step, but will recommend surgery if it is the best option for a situation. She has experience treating PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome), complex gynecologic conditions and high risk pregnancy. She is bilingual, in both Spanish and English.

This was my first visit to this provider and she was utterly amazing! She addressed all my concerns and even asked questions to get down to what the issue I was having. She was so helpful in wanting me to feel better. When I have exams they are always rough and traumatic at times. But dr Collin's was so gentle with me and made me feel comfortable and that's hard to find these days. I am so grateful for this doctor and the care she provided. I can't say enough good things about the staff, and every line item here. It's the best experience I've had in I don't know how long. Staff is especially courteous, and helpful. I needed to have my medical information faxed to your office. I handed the consent form with the fax number, and by the time I asked how long it would take, I was told, "Oh, it's already done!" Do you know how nice that is?
