About Michael Janice
Dr. Michael Janice is a general surgeon, certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery. He has earned additional certifications in robotic surgery, basic life support, advanced cardiovascular and advanced trauma life support. His pursuit of medical knowledge was strongly demonstrated when working as both a laboratory and teaching assistant while earning a BS in biochemistry and graduating summa cum laude. During his medical residency, Dr. Janice rotated through multiple surgical subspecialties including surgical intensive care, colorectal, trauma, cardiovascular, and pediatric. As a practicing surgeon, Dr. Janice gravitates to performing a wide range of general surgery procedures, with special interest in gallbladder surgery, hernia repairs, gastric reflux surgery, and robotic-assisted surgery. He considers himself a warm and outgoing individual who enjoys getting to know his patients. He is most proud when his post-operative patients are relieved of the pain they had been experiencing prior to surgery. Dr. Janice treats adults and adolescents 16 and older. On a personal note, he is an avid runner and reader.

Explained the follow-up well. His demeanor was great.
