About Vikas Bhalla
Vikas Bhalla, MD, MSCR, MBA, RPVI, FACC is a sextuple board-certified physician, an accomplished medical researcher, and an interventional cardiologist specializing in advanced structural cardiac procedures. His medical training began in India, then progressed to the USA as a heart failure research fellow. Dr. Bhalla then completed his clinical residency in internal medicine. This was followed by clinical fellowships in cardiovascular diseases, interventional cardiovascular diseases, and structural heart diseases. During his career, he has been an assistant professor in cardiology and interventional cardiology in both Kentucky and Georgia. Dr. Bhalla’s involvement in multiple studies in the area of health outcomes research resulted in more than 125 peer-reviewed manuscripts that have received more than 3300 citations worldwide. Dr. Bhalla’s goal is to work in partnership with his patients, their families and their primary care physicians to help them live long, healthy and fulfilling lives.
