Marc Weishaar, PT, DSc, OCS

Marc D. Weishaar, PT, DSc, OCS, is a physical therapist with more than 28 years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, and human performance. A retired U.S. Air Force officer, he earned his MSPT from Pacific University and his Doctor of Science in Physical Therapy through the Army-Baylor Physical Therapy Sports Medicine Fellowship. Throughout his career, he has helped patients of all ages recover from injury, restore movement, and safely return to the activities they enjoy most. Marc specializes in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, movement assessment, injury prevention, and performance optimization. His experience includes caring for military personnel, elite athletes, and patients recovering from surgery or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. He also served as Internship Director for the Army-Baylor Doctor of Physical Therapy program and as an Associate Professor, reflecting his passion for mentoring future healthcare professionals. Marc believes in a collaborative, patient-centered approach that combines evidence-based treatment with individualized care plans tailored to each patients goals and lifestyle. He is committed to helping patients build strength, restore function, and achieve long-term wellness through education, empowerment, and compassionate support. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife, staying active outdoors, serving his community, and living out the values of faith, family, and service that have shaped his career.
