Janessa L. Webster is a board certified family nurse practitioner with more than 15 years of healthcare experience. Her medical career began as a combat medic in the U.S. Army for eight years. While in the military, she decided to return to school to become a registered nurse. Upon graduation Nurse Practitioner Webster expanded her medical skills in emergency medicine for several years. She then earned her master’s degree in nursing from Simmons University with a focus on family medicine.Nurse Practitioner Webster treats children, adolescents, and adults, and enjoys caring for underserved populations. She has a special interest in obesity and weight management, as well as in stabilizing chronic conditions. Her philosophy of care is to experience each patient as an individual and as a whole person, considering physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and environmental factors. Janessa includes her patients in decisions regarding their care, and takes pride in witnessing positive outcomes for them. Married with three children, Janessa takes time for her own health with regular Zumba classes, swimming, dancing, and listening to music. She obtained her board certification from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is fluent in English and Spanish.

N.P Webster has put me at ease numerous times through various health concerns of mine. I have literally cried to her more than once, one time completely scared and embarrassed, and she responded exactly how I needed her to. I have recommended her to two family members who both began going there; both shared the same sentiments. One still attends, the other relocated to Alabama, but still constantly praises Webster wishing she could find a provider that makers her just as comfortable now. She is truly amazing and professional. Please do whatever to keep her on board with y'all. I honestly thought I was going to leave when Dr. Ricardo Montemayor relocated, I am very glad I met N.P Webster at the previous location and would be willing to follow her to any locations in the city if she remains with this company. I was very impressed with Janessa Lavane Webster, FNP-BC. She listened intently to all my concerns and issues. She was informed and explained things clearly. She guided me through all my medical conditions and we talked about them thoroughly. She was not rushed or distracted, which seems to be the norm. I felt that she was truly present and Interested In what I had to say. I most definitely want to see her again. My primary care physician is Richardo Montemayor but I did not meet him, which surprised me.
