Murali Senapathi, MD, is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. He has more than a decade of experience providing comprehensive cardiology care to his patients, with an emphasis on diagnosing conditions using non-surgical methods. Dr. Senapathi’s advanced medical training was in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He relocated to San Antonio, joining a practice and serving as a chief of cardiology in an acute care hospital. Dr. Senapathi specializes in complex coronary interventions, as well as peripheral arterial disease (PAD) management, including minimally invasive endovascular interventions, varicose veins/venous ulcers, lower extremity wounds and leg pains from vascular problems, and limb salvage. HE WAS EXCELLENT. HE TOOK MY BLOOD PRESSURE A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT WAY. HE MADE SURE I WAS SITTING UP STRAIGHT WITH FEET ON THE FLOOR, HE MADE SURE I HAD BEEN IN A RELAXED STATE FOR 3 TO 4 MINUTES BEFORE TAKING IT AND HE PLACED THE MONITOR ON THE CORRECT FINGER, AND HE EXPLAINED WHY. HE TOOK MY BP MANUALLY AND IT WAS NORMAL FOR THE 1ST TIME IN A CLINICAL ENVIRONMENT. WHEN I MENTIONED THAT TO HIM, HE STATED HOW IMPORTANT IT WAS TO HAVE THE PATIENTS IN THE PROPER POSITION. HE ALSO HELD MY ARM/ELBOW WHILE TAKING IT ABOVE MY HEART. HE SAID MOST JUST TAKE IT WITHOUT REALIZING THEY'RE NOT GIVING THE PATIENT A CHANCE AT RECEIVING A CORRECT NUMBER. Extremely professional. I left the office believing that my scheduled test were appropriate and necessary. While I didn't ask for such exams, they seem to be very to the core of my health concerns. I pray that all exams results provide me the sense of well being. In this practice I sincerely believe that I will be cared for with every sense of care and precision. Thank you!!!

This was my first visit and it could not have gone better. The checkout lady is very thorough. The doctor is a great listener and proceeded to schedule me for testing based on my health history.

Dr Bates is my usual doctor (Dr Greiner before that) but seeing Dr Senapathi was like having Dr Greiner back. He was thorough and concerned. I liked him very much. He is attempting to find my happy place as far as my blood pressure and medications go. His concern is very important to me and I am glad he is seeing me.

The front office staff texted parking help and that made it so easy when parking was not available up front. Then the nurse that took me back was very nice and gentle. Explained what she was going to do and no surprises. Then the doctor himself was very nice and reassuring about us finding a solution to my problem.
