Dr. Burgess is a retired Air Force Plastic Surgeon who completed her training in San Antonio. While active duty, she served at Travis Air Force Base as a Board Certified General Surgeon and deployed to Germany during Operation Iraqi Freedom to support the care and transport of soldiers out of theatre back to the US through Landstuhl Army Medical Center. She then completed a plastics and reconstructive residency at UT San Antonio. She then obtained her Board Certification and served for 8 years at Brooke Army Medical Center.

I didn't feel like I was being sold on something. Dr. Burgess genuinely cared for what questions I had, even though I felt at times I kept repeating them. I was a last minute appt because of a cancelation and these ladies welcomed me so friendly.

My case has been quite challenging. Dr Burgess has been so patient and caring. She takes as much time as needed to discuss options which has been so comforting. As mentioned before, I was very nervous and anxious about this appointment as it's a sensitive and private issue for me. Dr Burgess put me completely at ease within the first few minutes of meeting her. She also made me feel comfortable to where I could share my thoughts and worries with her. I had been dreading addressing this issue for months. After a very thorough consultation with Dr Burgess, I felt a weight lifted off me when I left. She was great.

Dr. Burgess was very nice and understanding. She knew how much I wanted that surgery. I suffered with my issue for 32 years. The surgery she performed on me was unbelievable. I have so much confidence when I'm around people. I was always ashamed of my body. She is a wonderful person and a BRILLIANT SURGEON I thank God for her parents for giving her life. My nurse and Dr.B are a perfect match because they both are perfect.

The moment I walked to the receptionist window I received a friendly greeting and staff was attentive. The staff showed care and easy to talk to and made you aware of next steps, and I was treated with respected. The Doctor made me feel at ease and gave me truth and explained everything I needed to know with simplicity and listen to my concerns and knew exactly what I needed. When I left the office it was the most amazing experience.
