When I arrived in exam room the assistant told me that they had not received my medical records from my ENT. I had copies of them with me so I gave them to him and he gave them to the doctor to read. To my surprise Dr. Cheruku came in about twenty minutes later discuss my visit and I was quite surprised that he actually knew what my issues were because he took the time to read my records before coming in to visit with me. :)

I had walked into one part of the building and checked in there. The nice lady at the front desk called me up about five minutes later to let me know that I needed to go across the breezeway to the other check in desk and let them know that I was there for Dr. Cheruku. The check in lady at his office was very understanding and checked me in without any issues and told me which office I need to go wait in.

The nurse Ann was very helpful and friendly she made sure that I understood what will take place inSurgery, very detailed and Doctor Cheruku also gave me what should take place and if I had any questions which I didn't. When I was under Doctor Cheruku finished the procedure when I woke up I didn't remember anything. Dr. Cheruku had talked with my wife and told her how pleased with the outcome of the procedure and what she do when she took me home and told her to call him if anything should happen.

These folks have it down to a science. They miss nothing...and do everything as they have trained to do. The nicest thing in by book, is that they all have a friendly smile on their face. That is very important to me. It let's me know that they care for me, and that they are happy with their job. Smile's are something that we cannot run out of, and should make every effort to share with someone who does not have one.

The RN did an excellent job of explaining the op procedure that would be done done, showed us the actual implant, and a short video answered our questions. Tried to accommodate our needs at the time in a calm manner caring manner.

The nurse was exceptional. Very courteous, patient, explain process and what to expect and then stayed with me through the tests (nuclear stress test). I was even offered something to drink and munch on due to I having nothing to eat/drink before my tests done at 8:00AM that morning.

I really appreciate Dr.Cheruku taking the time to explain my afib and course of treatment. As a Medical Assistant I can appreciate the potential severity of my condition. Both my hospital and office encounters were very professional and productive. I would love to not have a problem however that is not the case. So having an engaged and caring physician makes the ordeal much more bearable.

I felt that Dr. Cheruku really listens to the individuals issues. He advises on the importance of exercise and cardio. I like the fact that he works towards making me understand that prevention is better than over medicating. Advised me to monitor my blood pressure and gave guidelines to the numbers to stay within safe zones, I like that rather than just prescribing medication. A true asset.
