Gulczewski has worked for Baptist Health System for nearly 30 years, caring for patients at the bedside and guiding healthcare teams through roles she’s held including as associate chief nursing officer, director of critical care, charge nurse of adult intensive care, pediatric intensive care coordinator, as well as nursing leadership roles in imaging services, and in intensive and diabetic care. Most recently, Gulczewski served as COO of St. Luke’s Baptist, a position she held since 2015. Gulczewski earned a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. She completed her RN diploma from Misericordia General Hospital School of Nursing in Winnipeg, Manitoba, in Canada.
