Nursing & Allied Health Clinical Rotations

Overview

Baptist Health System offers several learning opportunities for students enrolled in affiliated schools/programs. Our program sites include the Baptist Medical Center, North Central Baptist Hospital, Northeast Baptist Hospital, St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, Mission Trail Baptist Hospital and HealthLink locations. Our partnerships with the community as well those throughout the country provide for the following student learning experiences:

Undergraduate Nursing Students

From beginning level nursing students to seniors working on leadership and management coursework, students who are accompanied by clinical faculty are partnered with our staff for a hands-on learning experience.

Allied Health/Ancillary Students

Many learning opportunities are available for undergraduate and graduate-level allied health and ancillary students who are enrolled in the following programs:
  • Respiratory Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Physical Therapy/Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Speech Language Pathology

High School Health Science/HOSA Students

BHS provides an opportunity for students from affiliated schools/programs to learn from and observe hospital staff from various units throughout our hospitals.

A current affiliation agreement with the student’s school/program must be on file before submitting a request for student placement. We strive to find learning opportunities for students from affiliated schools/programs, however, submission of a request is not a guaranteed placement.
