For difficult-to-heal wounds, The Wound Healing Center – Mission Trail, part of Baptist Health System, offers a staff of highly trained healthcare professionals working together to treat:
- diabetic foot ulcers
- postoperative wound care
- traumatic wounds
- surgical wounds
- wounds due to circulatory problems
- wounds caused by infection
We are located in the southeast area of San Antonio near the intersection of interstates 37 and 410 on the campus of Mission Trail Baptist Hospital. Wound treatments may include: hyperbaric oxygen therapy, antibiotic therapy, surgical debridement (removal of infected tissue) and others.

- Vascular studies
- Surgical debridement to remove infected tissue and bone

- Bio-engineered skin
- Negative pressure-assisted wound closure
