HealthLink Direct Access
HealthLink now offers Direct Access, which allows you to be evaluated and treated by a Physical Therapist without a doctor’s referral. You will have up to 10 business days from the date of evaluation to be treated without a referral. If you require treatment beyond the 10 day period, your physical therapist will consult with your physician.

At Baptist HealthLink, our occupational therapists assist patients with physical, neurological or developmental disabilities for more independent, productive and satisfying lives.
Common treatments include:
Certified Hand Therapy (CHT): Therapeutic intervention to prevent dysfunction or restore function to the upper limb (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder).
Custom splinting: Support, alignment, prevention, or correction of deformities to improve the function of movable parts of the body.
Activities of daily living (ADL) training: An exercise program which restores the ability to perform daily activities like dressing, bathing, eating, cooking and community living.
Manual Therapy: Hands-on manipulation to regain function of the hand joints and surrounding tissues.
Neurological therapy: An exercise-based program geared toward returning patients to activities of daily living (ADLs), work and/or prior levels of function after damage to the neurological system including stroke, brain injury or any other

Our Baptist HealthLink Pediatric rehab clinic consists of a unique group of Physical, Occupational and Speech therapists who are highly specialized in comprehensive services along a continuum of care from the NICU to outpatient rehabilitation. We
